I'm a Vermont family & small business branding photographer based in Warren, VT.
My philosophy on photographing children is simple: meet them where they are. I will never force a child to smile or do something they are uncomfortable with. I want to capture the true essence of who they are at this moment in time. Serious photos are beautiful too!
What are Personality Portraits?
Personality Portraits are just that- they are beautiful, simple portraits that capture your child's unique personality at this moment in time! These are relaxed sessions that focus on your child- so no distracting backgrounds or props- just your beautiful child and their unique personality!
Personality Portraits happen during special pop-up events only. You cannot book stand-alone sessions, but if you have a school or group that would love to offer these types of portraits, let's chat!
What ages do you photograph?
These pop up Personality Portrait events are for children ages about 1 year thru high school. Babies must be able to sit up on a small child's stool without a back and hold their head up really well.
If you are interested in having your younger baby photographed, please book a newborn session.

How Does it work?
Look above for my next pop-up event. You sign up by filling out the form, signing up for a time, and paying the non-refundable session fee to hold your spot. Your session includes 1 digital image from your child's gallery. Additional digital images, prints and wall art may be purchased from your online gallery. Come photo day, please be a little bit early for your session so your child can get settled.
You child will spend up to 5 minutes with me photographing, and I will be silly with them, but meet their energy where they are. I never force a child to smile.
Your photographs will be expertly chosen and edited by me, and you will receive a beautiful gallery of photographs to choose from, in both color and black & white. You will then be able to purchase digital images, prints, wall art and more right in your gallery.
How much are prints?
I offer a variety of digital image collections, prints, wall art & more! I have hand selected my favorite print products from my professional lab, and only prints ordered through me can be guaranteed for quality.
*Please note that your session fee does not include any digital images, prints, wall art etc.
Expectations
All images will be delivered in black and white only as an artistic preference.
Children react to new people and places differently at different ages. I will never force a child to smile or do something they do not want to do, as I want this to be a positive experience for them. Although the Session/Sitting Fee is non-refundable as it holds your spot, if your child is having an off-day you may apply the session/sitting fee to a future personality portrait event or session offering.
If your child is slow to warm up or is in the "stranger-danger" phase, I highly recommend booking a full portrait session to give them time to be comfortable with me. This ensures your child's comfort and quality photographs.
