Outdoor Newborn Sessions with Lincoln Gap Photography | Warren, VT Family Photographer

Summer is here in Vermont, and while Covid-19 has postponed so many things, you shouldn't let that stop you from capturing your newborn. Well before the pandemic, I loved to photograph babies outside. Late spring, Summer, and into October are the perfect months for me to capture your new family either on your property or at one of the many beautiful locations Vermont has to offer.

While I absolutely LOVE In-Home Newborn Sessions (and any kind of in-home session, for that matter), and I can certainly photograph your baby in your home in accordance with state guidelines, outdoor sessions are special because they are so fleeting in Vermont. We only have a few months to surround ourselves in the natural beauty of this gorgeous state, and it is really the perfect backdrop to celebrate and welcome your baby (or babies!) into your family.

This family welcomed their babies into the world right before the state closed down due to the pandemic. I sadly had to turn them away at that point, but about 3 months later, we were able to finally capture and celebrate these sweeties! And that's what your newborn session really is about- a celebration. New babies. The birth of a mother and father (or 2 moms or dads). New big sisters and big brothers. New grandparents. Whoever your family is, you are new. Your whole dynamic is changing, and capturing that newness is what my sessions are all about.

We photographed outside, at their home and in a nearby field, and with the storm clouds rolling in, it was a truly magical session. my sessions are relaxed, with plenty of time for feedings, changes, and really, just being together as a family. Here are some of my favorite images from their session:
